September Product Update – Humadroid

This month, we’ve introduced several improvements designed to streamline your workflow and enhance functionality. Here’s what’s new:

1-on-1 Meetings Integrated with Google Calendar

We’ve enhanced the Google Calendar integration for 1-on-1 meetings. Now, when a manager or employee schedules a 1-on-1, it automatically syncs with everyone’s Google Calendar, eliminating the need to manually update or check multiple calendars. This ensures that meetings are scheduled efficiently and visible to all participants.

Additionally, we’ve added availability settings for 1-on-1s, allowing users to check if a meeting can take place without any uncertainty.

Flexible Time-Off Policies

We’ve introduced Time-Off Policies, offering more flexibility and control over leave management. You can now create and customize different types of policies based on your organization’s needs, such as:

• Custom vacation policies for different regions or specific company needs, like training leave.
• Sick leave, which can be set as unlimited, providing employees the necessary support without strict limits.
• Simulated accruals, where employees can view how many days they’ll have at a future date, even if no days are currently available.
• Manual adjustments to time-off balances, allowing admins to add or remove days from any user account when necessary.
• Accrual options: Choose monthly, annual fixed, or unlimited leave types.
• Expiration rules for unused vacation days, tailored to local regulations or company policies.
• Trial period delay: Option to delay time-off calculations for employees during their trial period.

Additional Updates

• Rails 8.0.0.beta.1: Humadroid is now running on Rails 8.0.0.beta.1, improving system performance and ensuring long-term stability. Our database security is managed by UbiCloud.com.
• Improved UI for Benefits: The Benefits feature has been redesigned for a more intuitive user experience.
• Action Alerts Enhancement: Action Alerts have been updated to be more prominent, ensuring that important tasks are easier to notice and track.
• 1-on-1 User Display Fix: We resolved an issue where some users were not correctly displayed in the 1-on-1 scheduling list.
• Scaffolding Template Improvements: We've made enhancements to our scaffolding templates, improving the speed and ease of setting up new workflows.
